British pop sensation Lily Allen has begun work on her sophomore album. Lily will most likely be going towards a slightly different sound while still keeping her uniqueness. Greg Curstin who worked with Lily on her debut album will be helping her more on this album. However, Mark Ronson, who played a large role on her 1st album will not be returning.“Lily has been working on her new album, but I’m probably not going to be on it as she hasn’t been returning any of my calls,” Ronson says.
Sources have told PerezHilton.Com Allen is upset with Ronson because he “tried to take too much credit” for the success of her first album.
The new album is due out near the end of next year.
In other news,
Lily Allen has revealed that she’s not ready to quit music following the release of her second album, as quoted in an interview last week.
The singer insists that she was just talking rubbish and that she’s surprised that journalists fell for it.
She told the Daily Mirror: “I talk crap all the time and they (the tabloids) know it. So how come this time they didn’t get it? Silly people. I am having the best time of my life.”
Can't wait for the new album!
